The most important part of targeting your Entrance is to understand the scheme and syllabus of the Entrance Examination. The scheme of NEET is different from that of AIIMS and JIPMER. However, the Physics, Chemistry and Biology syllabus of all the three are almost identical.

Scheme of Entrance Examinations:

The NEET (UG) consists of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (Question with four options having single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The duration of paper would be 3 hours (180 minutes) from 10.00 a.m to 01.00 p.m. Marking Scheme is +4 for correct answer and -1 for a wrong answer.

The AIIMS (UG) Entrance is a 3:30 hours (210 minutes) long Online Computer Based Test consistiing of 200 Multiple Choice Questions from Physics (60), Chemistry (60), Biology (60), General Knowledge (10)and Aptitude & Logical Thinking (10).
